Trying To Begin Anew

It's been well over a year since I blogged any of my minor ventures, and I want to try again.

I paused blogging for a time, worrying about security issues.  By starting a new blog with a more relevant name I hope to ally my worries as well as let friends and family know I'm still kicking -- and Pedaling.

The new name for this blog arises from the fact we no longer live anywhere near Albuquerque NM. for many reasons.  We still have 2 sons and a few grandchildren dwelling there but we moved to MO for a simple reason, which we're still not exactly sure of.

Thus far, this post has taken more than 2 days.  My preoccupation is still recumbent trike riding since it's the most interesting thing I'm involved in - other than trying to serve Jesus Christ by serving fellow believers in and outside the Church of Jesus Crist of Latter-Day Saints.

Currently it's Tuesday, 17 Feb, 2026 at 4:30 PM.  
It's cool and cloudy outside and about 50 degrees.  Around noonish I went for a trike ride, worrying that I might get rained  on.  No rain, but it was cloudy and cool enough that my feet got cold and numb.  I'd planned loosely on getting at least 5 miles today, but I cut that in half and rode home without regret.
